Canadian actress. Born 25 March 1970. Matchett was raised in Spalding in Saskatchewan. She started her career as an actress after moving to Ontario. In the latter part of the nineties, Matchett started her acting career through Canadian TV. Later she moved to United States where she starred in The Secrets of Nero Wolfe Invasion: 24 Hours at Studio 60 as well as Ambulance Earth. It was the Last Conflict. She received an award, the Gemini Award, in 2001, for her role as the lead character on the Canadian TV show The Department of Wet Cases. She also played the wife of one of the main characters of several seasons of Impact. Since 2010, she has been playing her role as Joan Campbell in the TV show Covert Operations.
